The health and safety of campers and staff are our first priority. Here are the things we will continue to do to keep everyone safe & feeling well..
01/52
Activities include doing crafts, playing outdoor games, singing around the campfire, hiking trails, performing skits, outdoor sleep-outs, etc. There are no water facilities for swimming, boating, fishing, etc. However, a water fight or two have occurred! And, a friendly prank may add a highlight to the week!
Our camper to staff ratio generally runs about 6 to 1. Our counselors are adults. Our junior staff are high school students who have gone through our JCIT program or who display leadership skills. We typically have two staff per cabin group with extra support staff and program staff. All staff receive training which includes handling a variety of situations, programming ideas, and leadership skills. Our camp directors have over 50 years of combined camp experience.
Camp WoTeKI is located south of Twin Falls, Idaho, in the Magic Mountain area. Campers & staff stay in cabins equipped with bunk beds. There are two shower house/bathrooms, each being gender specific. We eat meals in the main lodge containing a commercial grade kitchen. Designated staff hold a required food handlers permit.
In response to inflation, a reduction in donations, and increased fees we are sadly needing to increase the camper registration fee. Over the years, we have worked hard to keep our camp fees as low as possible.

Patty "PT" Dalrymple
She started her camp experiences by attending Camp Sealth (Vashon Island, Washington) as a camper for 11 years. She then worked as staff at Camp Sealth for 16 years, serving as a cabin counselor for three years, a unit supervisor for nine years, and unit director for two years. She worked as part time staff at Camp Sealth for two additional years while she made the transition to Camp WoTeKi (formerly part of the Camp Fire program) in Idaho.
She has been a part of Camp WoTeKi since 1990, serving as one of the directors. Starting as a member of the camp committee in 1988, her love of "camp" keeps growing each year. So, it was natural for her to be involved in creating WoTeKi, Inc., which now operates Camp WoTeKi as its own non-profit organization. Patty works hard to make memories for all the campers, as well as the staff, that attend Camp WoTeKi. She helps the "magic" happen!
In her "off-camp" time, she has been an elementary school teacher since 1983, teaching five years in Montana before moving to Idaho in 1988 where she joined the Bruneau Grand View School District. She taught 2-4th grades over the next 26 years at Grand View Elementary. Her greatest joy has always been to work with children and help them learn to be self-reliant. She eventually left the classroom to work with Federal Programs for the district. In the following 9 years she had a variety of roles including Title I teacher, EL/Migrant Director, Intervention Teacher, Instructional Coach, Federal Programs Director, and Curriculum Coordinator. She left the district in July 2023.
Currently, Patty is working as the School Improvement Coordinator for the Idaho Department of Education. She nows has an opportunity to work with schools across Idaho helping them with their school improvement journey.
Patty has been a volunteer for youth organizations for much of her adult life. Being a member of Camp Fire Boys & Girls in her youth, it was easy for her to then become a Camp Fire leader, often having as many as four after school clubs at one time. She worked with all age groups. While in college she volunteered for Big Brother/Big Sister organization, helping three young girls get some positive interactions and attention. She also worked with Girl Scouts for a couple of years.
Other hobbies include taking lots of pictures and scrapbooking (both digital & traditional), card making & other crafts, and being with her grandchildren.
Kristi "Ripple" Hagen
Kristi started her camp experience with Camp WoTeKi as a camper in 1999. Camp has always been a family activity so naturally Kristi was eager to join the team! She quickly realized she had a passion for helping teach kids the importance of team-work and being involved in helping others. Kristi worked her way up the ranks within camp becoming a JCIT, Junior Counselor, Counselor, JCIT Director and is now serving as one of our Co-Directors. She has been dedicated to Camp WoTeKi since its beginning and looks forward to the many years of success in the future.
Kristi is currently a branch manager at Wells Fargo. Prior to her current job, she worked in retail management for 18 years. Through her management and leadership experience, she has gained the ability to help teach young adults new skills that will help prepare them for their future endeavors both at Camp WoTeKi and in their professional atmosphere.
Kristi spends a significant amount of time recruiting companies to help support our non-profit organization through various donation processes. She assists greatly in the recruitment of kids from various states to attend camp. Currently we have kids from several western states attending our summer camp each year.
When not busy with Camp and work, Kristi enjoys spending time with her dogs. She enjoys fishing, camping, most anything outdoors, riding motorcycles and traveling. She loves being a positive influence in the lives of young adults and encourage anyone who has the opportunity to volunteer to do so. Other hobbies include photography, acrylic painting, and spending time with friends and family.
Falls Brand (Twin Falls, ID) since 2017
All of these businesses help keep our costs to a minimum making camp affordable for families. We truly appreciate them for what they do for us.
Every spring the Elks Lodge host a golf tournament as a fundraiser and we have received a portion of the funds to help with costs of camp since 2022. It is greatly appreciated.
Through a Volunteer Program employees are able to donate to non-profits. We appreciate the employees of Wells Fargo that have used this opportunity to donate to our program.
If you would like to make a donation to help kids go to camp, contact one of the directors. We get 5-7 requests for financial assistance every year. Your help would be appreciated.
We are an exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code since 2007. Donations to us are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code.
Our mission is to provide youth with opportunities to realize their potential as caring and responsible citizens of society through an appreciation of nature and informal education of basic life skills.
Our background comes from our connection with Camp Fire Boys & Girls. That involvement helped form some of the values we currently embrace with our Camp Program, which began as Camp Tawakani. Our name changed to Camp Kotami as we started to break away from Camp Fire and become our own program. Camp WoTeKi has been the name of our camp program since 2006 when becoming a non-profit organization.
